Hello! I'm Ashley Dzvonik, an instructional designer who is passionate about building practical, learner-centered training. I'm currently a Training Design Intern at GuidePoint Security, a cybersecurity firm. Before that, I completed an instructional design internship at CDM Smith, a global engineering firm. There, I designed a Business Acumen for Sales Leadership course and a Strategic Thinking webinar for over 300 managers. I received my M.Ed. in Instructional Design and Educational Technology at American College of Education in September 2026.

I started my career as a K–6 teacher in Anderson School District Five. Four years in the classroom taught me how to break big ideas into clear steps and keep learners engaged. I still use those skills every day—I just use them with adults in the corporate setting now. I build courses with backward design. I start with the goal, decide how learners will show it, and then plan the practice. 

I work in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Vyond, Camtasia, Canva, Adobe Express, and Docebo. I also do pro bono instructional design for Lighthouse Christian Theatre, where I serve as board chair. 

What drives me is still that "aha" moment from a learner; it just looks different now. It might be a new manager handling a tough conversation with confidence, or a volunteer who feels ready on their first day. My long-term goal is to build a corporate leadership academy that makes that kind of growth ongoing instead of a one-time workshop.
